UWM uses an email marketing service called Emma. I am one of the primary Emma administrators at the university, with a focus on the design side of email marketing. Within the past few years, Emma completely overhauled its editor interface. Though the UX for constructing an email was extremely improved, it was also very different. This was an opportunity for me to design a fresh new branded template for our marketing partners to use as the foundation of their emails. Rolling out this template became the perfect opportunity to also provide training to my colleagues on how to use this new interface.
